Our Commitment to Accessibility

The Knight Manager App was built with accessibility as a top priority from day one. Many of our players are blind or visually impaired, and we are committed to providing every player with a full-featured experience.

Supported Features
  • VoiceOver — All buttons, images, messages, and interactive elements have descriptive labels. Messages are read as cohesive elements (sender, time, message text).
  • Voice Control — All interactive elements can be operated via voice commands.
  • Dynamic Type — The app supports the iOS larger text setting. Text scales automatically.
  • Dark Interface — The app uses a dark design that is easy on the eyes and works well with iOS accessibility features.
  • Color Independent — Status information (online/offline, muted, unread) is conveyed through text, not just colors.
  • Sufficient Contrast — Gold accent color on dark background provides high contrast for good readability.
  • Reduce Motion — Animations automatically respect the iOS reduce motion setting.
Game Commands for Blind Players

All game commands (/backpack, /resources, /roll, etc.) generate cards with complete VoiceOver descriptions. Backpack contents, resource values, and dice results are described verbally.

Emoji Reactions

Every emoji in the reaction picker has a descriptive label (e.g., "Thumbs up", "Diamond", "Swords"), so VoiceOver users can select the right reaction.

Trading and Gifts

The trading and gift features are fully operable with VoiceOver. Item selection, quantity controls, and confirmations are all accessible.
