Nazgur and Ironclaw

Nazgur and Ironclaw

Nazgur is a cruel orc beastmaster who commands the vanguard of the Bonetree Stronghold. With his spear and capture nets, he controls the battlefield from a distance, while his armored war warg Ironclaw tears enemies to pieces.

The duo has been inseparable for years — Nazgur once rescued the warg as a pup from a trap and raised him with an iron fist. Ironclaw obeys only his master, but should Nazgur fall, the warg transforms into an uncontrollable beast, driven by blind rage and the loss of his only companion.

Together they guard the first section of the stronghold. Nazgur weakens his opponents with nets and spear throws, while Ironclaw strikes with brutal bites and leaping attacks. Only those who keep an eye on both at once have a chance of survival.

Durnok

Durnok

Durnok is the grim weaponsmith of the Bonetree Stronghold — a massive orc clad in a forge-apron of woven iron, his beard scarred by sparks and ash. In his furnace, the blades that arm Gorrath's garrison have glowed for generations. Those who underestimate him take him for a craftsman — until his hammer falls.

With his heavy smith's hammer he hurls glowing slag at the knights. The molten chunks fly through the air like living torches, leaving deep burning wounds. His anvil answers every strike — shockwaves roll across the platform and throw entire ranks of knights off their feet. Throughout the fight, Durnok forges his own weapon ever sharper, his damage growing with each round.

Yet when his hammer finally breaks, the fight is not over — it has only just begun. Durnok reaches into the embers, draws out an unhardened, blood-red glowing blade, and sweeps it across the battlefield in wide arcs. Whatever the blade touches melts.

Gorrath

Gorrath

Gorrath Treebreaker is the warlord of the Bonetree Stronghold. Larger than any orc the knights have ever seen, he sits upon a throne of bone and root, surveying his realm.

Only when his two guards Krukk and Vrokh have fallen does he rise from his throne himself. With his tree-trunk club he hammers individual knights to the ground, his demoralizing war cry weakens the whole party, and his trampling charge knocks the weakest knights out of the fight.

Behind his throne wait the answers — letters that reveal the orcs were merely tools of a far more dangerous foe.
