Dragon feeding: bug fixed

Published on May 30th, 2026

A bug in the dragon's food storage has been fixed — until now it could hold food well beyond a day's worth, which was never intended. Excess food is now discarded once the dragon is full.

Tip for dragon owners: don't stuff your dragon in one go — anything over the cap gets lost. Feed smaller portions more often and watch the "well fed" status. Dragon Meals remain the most efficient food.

New: The Book of Titles

Published on May 28th, 2026

The Book of Titles is here!

Until now you could only wear one title at a time — buying a new one meant losing the old one. With the Book of Titles you collect every title permanently and can switch between them freely, anytime.

How to get it: Buy a title in the shop — afterwards the merchant offers you the book once for 500 diamonds. Your current title is saved as the first entry right away.

The book sits in your backpack ("use Book of Titles") — browse your collection there and switch your worn title. Your titles also appear in your profile and in the app.

Important: Your title collection carries over between seasons and is not reset.

Name Changes & More Transparency

Published on May 27th, 2026

The name change system in Knight Manager has been adjusted.

Each player can now change their name once per season for free. Further name changes within the same season remain possible, but will cost diamonds afterward.

In addition, the app now shows a new notice for players who recently changed their name. This makes it more transparent when a knight was recently active under a different name.

This change is intended to help:

- create more transparency within the community
- avoid confusion
- make possible fraud or scam attempts more difficult
- make trade and chat activity easier to understand

It is important to us that name changes remain flexible, while also strengthening trust within the community.

The blacksmith has rediscovered a forgotten thorium forging technique in an old scroll. Knights wearing the Thorium set and shooting at a dragon in the Dark Forest can now collect several scales at once — and with the complete set, even snatch a piece of dragon meat.

Knight Manager Id evolving!

Published on May 13th, 2026

The former chat app is now gradually becoming the official companion app for your Knight Manager adventure.

Besides chatting with other knights, you can now:
• view your knight and stats
• manage equipment and inventory
• track skills and achievements
• browse rankings
• read letters and news
• enable push notifications for important game events

And this is only the beginning.

Future updates will bring even more game features directly into the app. The goal is to make Knight Manager feel more connected, accessible and alive — not only through Alexa, but also on the go.

Thank you for all your feedback and suppor

Outpost — fairer point distribution

Published on April 24th, 2026

The hunting point curve at the outpost has been smoothed out. Players who don't complete all five tasks now lose noticeably fewer points compared to those who finish all of them. The completion bonus for all five tasks is preserved, but the jumps between tiers are more even. If you miss or skip some tasks, the point loss is now less severe than before. Skipped tasks still cannot be completed later.

New season rewards for places 6-10

Published on April 24th, 2026

Starting next season, places 6 through 10 in the combat and hunting rankings will also be rewarded with diamonds. The top 5 remain reserved for their royal medal and the legends entry — everyone else in the top 10 will receive an honourable recognition from the king.

Gambit Strike balanced

Published on April 23rd, 2026

Gambit Strike has been rebalanced. The damage after the preparation turn is now noticeably higher — especially at higher levels, the risky skip pays off much more clearly.

If you have the skill in your arsenal, expect a proper reward for taking the risk. Check the updated skill descriptions for details.

The launch of Knight Manager Chat has been a great success.
More than 900 players have already signed up and are using the chat to connect with others, organize groups, send messages, and stay even closer to the community.

We would like to give a very special thank you to Lilith (#3870681).
She has helped us tremendously with her dedication, valuable feedback, and extensive testing, making an important contribution to improving both the chat and the app. Thank you so much for your support!

A big thank you also goes to Hexagon (#55925), who especially supported us in the area of accessibility with intensive testing, many helpful suggestions, and great dedication.
For players who use VoiceOver, this feedback was incredibly valuable and helped make the app much more accessible and comfortable to use in many important details.

Now new: the iOS app is publicly available

Knight Manager Chat is now also available as a native app for iPhone and iPad on the App Store.

What can the app do?

- Full chat functionality: channels, direct messages, and groups
- Push notifications so you never miss a message
- Send and receive voice messages
- Share images and set profile pictures
- Trade and send gifts
- Fully available in German and English

Accessibility as a key focus

During development, it was especially important to us that the app would be highly usable for blind and visually impaired players as well.
Knight Manager has an active community of players who use VoiceOver, and for exactly that reason, this app was never meant to merely “work somehow” — it was meant to provide a truly high-quality user experience.

Now available on multiple platforms

The Android app is already available for download. An iOS app will follow — in the meantime the chat works everywhere as a PWA: Just open it in your browser and tap “Add to Home Screen” — done!

The existing chats on Discord and Facebook will be shut down after a transition period. This way we finally have everything in one place: No more split community, no more missed messages, and every knight can find help and fellow players right away — regardless of language.

Season 16 Has Begun!

Published on March 1st, 2026

Dear Knights,

The start of the new season was a bit bumpy – and we would like to sincerely thank you for your patience and support. By now, everything should be running smoothly and stable again.

With Season 16, we are not only starting fresh, but also introducing several new features to the game. And this is just the beginning – more updates and improvements are already in progress and will follow throughout the season.

We truly appreciate that you are walking this path with us.

We wish you great success, exciting battles, and an amazing Season 16!

Statement Regarding Automation in Knight Manager

Published on February 26th, 2026

We are aware that videos and other methods for automating certain gameplay processes are currently circulating. This topic has been with us for quite some time.

From a technical standpoint, it is not possible for us to immediately and clearly identify every such method. One reason for this is that, at the platform level, we do not receive all the detailed information required to reliably distinguish genuine voice commands from other technically triggered actions — such as routines.

However, this does not mean that we are powerless.
We continuously improve our detection mechanisms, correlate data, and carefully analyze suspicious patterns in player behavior. Automation leaves traces — and these traces can be identified and evaluated over time.

Fully automated gameplay is and remains prohibited. Anyone who continuously controls their knight through automation must expect to be excluded from the game.

We continuously analyze gameplay behavior and collect relevant information. Measures are not necessarily taken immediately — an instant ban would only serve to warn others. Our goal is to make fair and sustainable decisions.

To maintain fairness during ongoing review phases, we have central protective mechanisms in place — for example, the 5,000 energy limit per account. This limit is tracked server-side and cannot be bypassed.

Finally, one important clarification: the term “cheat” is not accurate in this context. Technically speaking, these are simple automations — however, they are clearly prohibited and violate our rules.

We remain committed to ensuring a fair playing environment for everyone.

Technical Issues Overnight

Published on February 19th, 2026

Last night there were technical issues with the skill. These have now been resolved. Resources that would have been produced during the downtime have been credited and the forest has been reopened. Trade requests will need to be resubmitted as most of them will have expired.

We appreciate your understanding.

With Season 16, the previous level milestones will be replaced by a new system: Achievements.

Many of you appreciated milestones as an important source of diamonds and arrow makers – we know that. That’s why we’re not simply removing them, but evolving them into something more dynamic.

From now on, it’s not just your level that counts.
Your entire journey as a knight will be recognized.

We’ve created something for every knight:
Whether you prove yourself in the arena, hunt in the forest, explore dungeons, defeat bosses, or master your craft.
Whether you’ve just begun your adventure or already stand among the strongest knights of the realm – even casual players will find their place.

Most achievements consist of multiple tiers and reward you with gold, diamonds, arrow makers, and serfs.
Those who actively pursue achievements may ultimately earn even more than with the old milestone system.

In total, more than 50 achievements with over 200 tiers are waiting to be unlocked.

Say:
“My Achievements” to hear about your unlocked progress –
or view them clearly in your knight’s profile on the website.
