Through the wall together

Published on August 4th, 2026

When several orders attack the same location, they now fight the defender together first. Only once the wall has fallen do the survivors settle among themselves who moves in.

Captures now count five times

Published on August 3rd, 2026

New rule in the Banner War: from now on, every capture is worth fifty points instead of ten. Taking a location earns as much in one stroke as a whole day of holding. Until now each order held two locations and the gap never moved — now a single attack can turn the war. It pays to get moving.

The Banner War is live

Published on August 3rd, 2026

The time has come: the first public Banner War has begun and runs until 10 August at 10 a.m. CEST. The bell tolls every 30 minutes. In the skill, say "Banner War"; in the app you will find it as its own menu entry. Good luck — may the strongest order win!

Why the skill won’t start on your Echo

Published on July 31st, 2026

Update on the Echo problem: Many of you can’t start Knight Manager on your Echo right now — you only get "Sorry, I’m having trouble." Important: it’s not you, not your account, and not our game. The cause is a specific Amazon device software version (13121732740) that breaks session-based skills on affected Echos — including other developers’ skills. Following our report, Amazon has confirmed the fault in their own logs and is working on it; the fix has to come from Amazon as a device update, and there’s no date yet. There’s nothing to change on your side — a factory reset does not help. Until then, the Alexa app on your phone and unaffected devices keep working. And: we’re working at full speed on making the game playable directly through the app — but this outage hit us without warning too, so it won’t be done in a few days. As soon as there’s something concrete, you’ll hear it first. Thank you for your patience and the many device reports — they’re exactly what convinced Amazon.

The first Banner War begins

Published on July 29th, 2026

On August 3 at 4:00 a.m. Eastern Time (8:00 UTC), the first public test run of Banner War begins! For seven days, the three Orders will fight over six strategic locations. Send your knight into the field, capture positions, and defend them against the other Orders. Every 30 minutes, the bell sounds and all commands are resolved. Each held location earns valuable Order Points and can have a decisive impact on the race for the season victory. Coordination is the key to victory: work together with your Order, plan joint attacks, and make sure captured locations are not left unguarded. You can play the entire Banner War through either the Alexa skill or the app. In the app, you can view the map, occupied locations, travel times, battle reports, and the current standings. You can also send out your knight, change commands, call your knight back, and fortify held locations. In the skill, say “Banner War” to begin. In the app, you will find Banner War as its own menu item. The test run ends on August 10 at 4:00 a.m. Eastern Time (8:00 UTC). As this is the first public Banner War, there may still be a few rough edges. We especially appreciate your feedback. Rally your knights, raise your banners, and lead your Order to victory!

World bosses become more valuable

Published on July 29th, 2026

With the start of the next season, the great world bosses will become much more important in the Order competition. Defeat the Orc King, the dragon, or Azrael and secure ten times the previous Order Points for your Order. Rally your knights, coordinate your attacks, and lead your Order to victory!

Echo devices: the skill will not start

Published on July 28th, 2026

On some Echo devices Knight Manager currently refuses to start; Alexa only says it is having trouble. It is not your account and not our servers: certain devices are affected while others on the same account work normally. The cause lies outside the game, on the device side. We have been working on it together with Amazon for several days; the affected device versions and exact failure times are with them, and the case is being handled with priority. Until then you can keep playing as usual: in the Alexa app on your phone everything runs with your knight exactly as before.

A correction to the King's Tournament: experience from tournament fights was higher than from normal fights and has now been brought in line with the normal amount.

Loot Potion buffed!

Published on June 16th, 2026

Good news for all hunters: the Loot Potion is now noticeably stronger — its bonus chance for loot while hunting in the Dark Forest has been increased to 15 percent. Happy hunting!

Bandage in the dungeon now heals smarter

Published on June 12th, 2026

The Bandage skill in the dungeon now heals the knight who has lost the largest share of their health — instead of simply the one with the lowest HP number. That way the healing goes where it is needed most, and an almost-full knight with a small health pool is no longer favoured unnecessarily.

Thanks to Sailor moon for the suggestion!

Dragon feeding: bug fixed

Published on May 30th, 2026

A bug in the dragon's food storage has been fixed — until now it could hold food well beyond a day's worth, which was never intended. Excess food is now discarded once the dragon is full.

Tip for dragon owners: don't stuff your dragon in one go — anything over the cap gets lost. Feed smaller portions more often and watch the "well fed" status. Dragon Meals remain the most efficient food.

New: The Book of Titles

Published on May 28th, 2026

The Book of Titles is here!

Until now you could only wear one title at a time — buying a new one meant losing the old one. With the Book of Titles you collect every title permanently and can switch between them freely, anytime.

How to get it: Buy a title in the shop — afterwards the merchant offers you the book once for 500 diamonds. Your current title is saved as the first entry right away.

The book sits in your backpack ("use Book of Titles") — browse your collection there and switch your worn title. Your titles also appear in your profile and in the app.

Important: Your title collection carries over between seasons and is not reset.

Name Changes & More Transparency

Published on May 27th, 2026

The name change system in Knight Manager has been adjusted.

Each player can now change their name once per season for free. Further name changes within the same season remain possible, but will cost diamonds afterward.

In addition, the app now shows a new notice for players who recently changed their name. This makes it more transparent when a knight was recently active under a different name.

This change is intended to help:

- create more transparency within the community
- avoid confusion
- make possible fraud or scam attempts more difficult
- make trade and chat activity easier to understand

It is important to us that name changes remain flexible, while also strengthening trust within the community.

The blacksmith has rediscovered a forgotten thorium forging technique in an old scroll. Knights wearing the Thorium set and shooting at a dragon in the Dark Forest can now collect several scales at once — and with the complete set, even snatch a piece of dragon meat.

Knight Manager Id evolving!

Published on May 13th, 2026

The former chat app is now gradually becoming the official companion app for your Knight Manager adventure.

Besides chatting with other knights, you can now:
• view your knight and stats
• manage equipment and inventory
• track skills and achievements
• browse rankings
• read letters and news
• enable push notifications for important game events

And this is only the beginning.

Future updates will bring even more game features directly into the app. The goal is to make Knight Manager feel more connected, accessible and alive — not only through Alexa, but also on the go.

Thank you for all your feedback and suppor
