These notes supplement KRÖGOOR’s general privacy policy for Knight Manager — the Alexa skill, the companion app and this website.
Game account and progress
For your game account we store a pseudonymous identifier, your knight’s name, and progress and statistics — level, values, equipment, order membership, leaderboard positions and activity timestamps. When the game is used through Alexa, the identifier comes from Amazon; language and time zone are transmitted by Amazon automatically.
Chat, companion app and profile
The chat is part of the game service. We process your messages in public channels, groups and direct messages, uploaded images and voice messages, reactions, your profile picture, your online status, the read position per conversation, your block list, and notes you write about other players. For notifications we store your device’s push identifier. Messages in public channels are visible to all signed-in players; direct messages only to the participants.
Deleting your data
You can delete your data yourself in the app’s settings. This removes messages, images, voice messages, reactions, profile picture and profile, push identifiers, block list, notes and your membership in conversations.
A write ban that is still in force remains — otherwise deleting your data would simply be a way to shed a ban. Only the minimum is kept: identifier and expiry time. The reason and the moderator who issued it are erased, and expired bans are removed entirely.
The game account itself — your knight with level, equipment, order and leaderboard position — is not affected by this; it belongs to the game, not to the chat. You can request its deletion at any time by email to info@kroegoor.com.
Purchases
The companion app contains no purchases. The Alexa skill offers optional in-skill purchases; payment is handled exclusively by Amazon. All we hold is whether a product was purchased, and when.
