Xelgor belonged to an ancient brotherhood tasked with protecting the Ghost Cliffs from intruders. But one fateful day, the brotherhood fell victim to betrayal. In a fierce battle, Xelgor and his brothers were cornered. Gravely wounded and close to death, Xelgor desperately turned to Azrael, the evil sorcerer and ultimate adversary of the game, and pleaded for his help.

Azrael saw in Xelgor's desperate situation an opportunity to strengthen his own power and advance his sinister plans. He granted Xelgor eternal life, but at a high price: Xelgor's mortal body was transformed into mist, and he was henceforth doomed to serve as the guardian of the cliffs, unable to control his own will. Azrael used Xelgor as a tool to turn the Ghost Cliffs into his impregnable stronghold.

Since that day, Xelgor has roamed the cliffs as a ghostly mist creature. His body is suffused with the dense mists of the cliffs, making him nearly invisible and invulnerable to normal weapons.

Azrael's intention behind Xelgor's transformation was to create a powerful guardian who would protect the Ghost Cliffs from all intruders and prevent anyone from discovering Azrael's secret retreat in the heart of the cliffs.

Now, Nyx and Aether haunt the cliffs, their souls shattered, and their hearts heavy with guilt. Once heroes, they are now the merciless guardians who challenge anyone daring enough to enter the cliffs. Only a true hero, one with the power to break the curse, can free them from their terrible fate and liberate the kingdom from Azrael's darkness.
