Statement Regarding Automation in Knight Manager

Published on February 26th, 2026

We are aware that videos and other methods for automating certain gameplay processes are currently circulating. This topic has been with us for quite some time.

From a technical standpoint, it is not possible for us to immediately and clearly identify every such method. One reason for this is that, at the platform level, we do not receive all the detailed information required to reliably distinguish genuine voice commands from other technically triggered actions — such as routines.

However, this does not mean that we are powerless.
We continuously improve our detection mechanisms, correlate data, and carefully analyze suspicious patterns in player behavior. Automation leaves traces — and these traces can be identified and evaluated over time.

Fully automated gameplay is and remains prohibited. Anyone who continuously controls their knight through automation must expect to be excluded from the game.

We continuously analyze gameplay behavior and collect relevant information. Measures are not necessarily taken immediately — an instant ban would only serve to warn others. Our goal is to make fair and sustainable decisions.

To maintain fairness during ongoing review phases, we have central protective mechanisms in place — for example, the 5,000 energy limit per account. This limit is tracked server-side and cannot be bypassed.

Finally, one important clarification: the term “cheat” is not accurate in this context. Technically speaking, these are simple automations — however, they are clearly prohibited and violate our rules.

We remain committed to ensuring a fair playing environment for everyone.
